Stuff that is used for ad campaigns are varied and many. These are campaigns which are connected with marketing, the work being something that corporations may contract for. These have need of audience access and to create placement of their products in the popular imagination with images and messages that are catchy.

Billboards once were the most iconic signs for all sorts of ad needs. They are still this way, being seen virtually anywhere where there is space, signs that audiences can come across daily. Once, these were only set up on places where folks can see it daily, supported by strong bases or frameworks and static all of the time.

But mobile ads have long been in use, and could even have been made earlier than billboards were. The combo of mobile equipment and facilities and large, really large signs, have made this kind of advertising excellent to use. The things being discussed here though are smaller, as static ones tend to be really as large as clients want.

Mobile ads need to be smaller to fit into the vehicles which carry them. Some years back, agencies started using heavy transport vehicles with fittings for the billboards. Pretty soon, it was a special thing for corporations to access, usually the more iconic brands or products were advertised this way, running through city streets.

The trucks are normal carrier types with backs that been reconfigured or specially made to take up the signs. The sizes are big when compared to almost everything else except for the biggest static set ups. The expense was something that made these well received, because consumers appreciated the fact that companies went to such means to advertise.

After a time, variations on this theme were made. The most popular products were advertised in ways that were really eye catching. The shoe manufacturer Nike for example created a shoe from out of a normal car so people could see a big shoe and its branding running on asphalt, and this really fitted the products and branding for the company.

Nowadays, some of the smaller items are made in the way of mobile ads. Placards, signs tor even posters are mounted on public transport. These signs are found either on sides, backs and even the unit roofing, each ad is thus made mobile, seen by a cross section of popular audiences as the transports go through their normal every day routes.
